"NOVY" records with CRYPTIC TALES !
CRYPTIC TALES prepares for the next recording session of the new album (end of July 2011, Spaart Studio). The bass guitar tracks are gonna be recorded by "Novy" who throughout his career played in bands such as BEHEMOTH and VADER.
It is going to be the second session during which the band is going to
complete drums, guitars and bass.

CRYPTIC TALES IS RECORDING A NEW ALBUM !!!
In the beginning of April CRYPTIC TALES is going to visit the SPAART STUDIO to do the first recordings for the new album.
The band is going to follow the pathway of the "VII Dogmata of
Mercy", and the new album is going to consist of a 40 min. epic/black/death metal.

LINE- UP CHANGES !
Bartosz Filipinski (keys), who has participated in recording of the last album "VII Dogmata of Mercy" has quit the band. Due to that fact Peter and Drizzt are going to handle the keyboard parts on the new CRYPTIC TALES album (which is now being prepared).

CRYPTIC TALES is currently working on the new album. The band have "locked up" in rehearsal room to work on brisk pace. New songs will be similar to those on "VII Dogmata of Mercy". The album will also be influenced by classical music (which made CRYPTIC TALES recognizable in the early 90's) |

It's a New Year so it's a time for summary!
No doubt we are done with an important phase which can be described as a "come back". Doing it was like a moving an old, rusty machine. Today this machine called CRYPTIC TALES is slowly moving forwards. 2009 brought many surprises to us. Our latest album "VII Dogmata Of Mercy" was reissued outside Poland by CRASH MUSIC (USA). Then our older albums "Valley Of The Dolls" and "Anathema" were reissued on CD's by Psycho Records and Redrum 666 respectively. We played our first concerts. We played a role of a supporting act for SAMAEL.
Simply speaking we are back and we are part of the metal stage. Now we
head out towards new goals, namely coposing new album. We are currently working on it and we will inform you about our progress.
We would like to thank all those who supported us, those who remember us from 90's and our new fans as well.

We played a few more concerts in Lublin, Rzeszow and Katowice (Poland). We enjoyed the way the fans reacted to our performance and we'd like to thank for your support! We eard people shouting CRYPTIC TALES! once again and in some cities we were made to play extra songs because the crowd demanded it. IT WAS GREAT! BIG CHEERS!
We reached our goal. We wanted to feel good on stage after our come back, and after playing those concerts we are ready for bigger challenges.
We would also like to thank Extreme Night Booking Agency, who organized all those gigs. You rock! See you on next concerts

"Drizzt" in CRYPTIC TALES
Drizzt (guitar), who played as a session member during all Cryptic Tales
"come back" gigs has joined the band. He replaced Jacek Fall. Drizzt is
also a leader of his band UNDERDARK and plays bass guitar in SACRIFER. |

LINE-UP CHANGES !
Jacek Fall (guitar) who has been with Cryptic Tales since the "come back" has quit the band. He worked on and recorded "VII Dogmata of Mercy". He also had big influence on graphic design on this album and all promotional stuff which can be found on band's web page. He created the graphic layout on "Valley of the Dolls" and played an important role in working on the video clip "Towards Modern Darkness".
He quit the band due to personal issues.

AFTER FIRST SHOWS
We are after a series of gigs that we played to grab the smell of the
arena once again. These were the first gigs after the lears of break and
they were very important for us. Thanks to these short tours we gained
experience to make our concerts better. We needed it, and it was great!!!
We had many wonderful moments and we met a lot of amazing people from Poland, Czech Republic and Germany, and most important played in a new line-up. After many years we heard the crowd shouting CRYPTIC TALES! and what really shocked us singing the lyrics with us. We were glad to see our older fans who supported us during some gigs. We would also like to thanks our "younger" fans who got to know us sincs the release of "VII Dogmata of Mercy".
Call it as you want, we are back on stage.

REDRUM 666 record label has reissued this album on May 26th 2009. Anathema is a cult status album of the early 90's, which shocked death metal scene not only in Poland. The album has a multimedia bonus with the photos of that time. www.redrum666.net

CRYPTIC TALES - ANATHEMA on CD !
REDRUM 666 is going to reissue a cult-status album of the early 90's
called "Anathema". It is going to be an interesting stuff for the fans of
an old-school Swedish death metal combined with unconventional instruments
such as: double bass, classical guitar or keyboards.
This opus broke all conventions that existed on the metal scene of that
time and became widely known in Europe. "Anathema" was re-mastered in SPAART STUDIO and was given a new graphic
design. The photos of that time are going to be included. REDRUM 666 plans to release this CD on 24th May, 2009. |

The reissue of "Valley Of The Dolls" is available on CD. As it was
announced it was re-released by Psycho Records and it contains 7 tracks
recorded in 1994. As a bonus CD there is a band live performance At cult
festival "STHRASHYDLO 94" during which Cryptic Tales performed 2
unpublished songs: "Neighbourhood" and "Await The Night". This CD can be
bought at: Psycho rec, Allegro, Sklep.

VALLEY OF THE DOLLS on CD !
Older Cryptic Tales albums are goping to be rereleased on CD. Firstly,
PSYCHO RECORDS is going to release the most controversial death-doom opus
of the 90's - VALLEY OF THE DOLLS. As a bonus CD a video from 1994
STHRASYDŁO festival is going to be published.
VALLEY OF THE DOLLS has been remastered at SPAART STUDIO and has been
given a new booklet. PSYCHO RECORDS plan to release it in April 2009. |

After seven years of silence the band has begun to rehearse. The line-up has been: Piotr Kopko (guitar, vocals), Jaroslaw Maciuszek (drums), Mateusz Bernardyn (bass) and a newcomer Jacek Fall (guitar). The new material has been composed and the new style has been created. The effect of the band's hard work is entitled "VII Dogmata Of Mercy" (Empire Rec. 2008). In the meantime Bartlomiej Filipinski (keys) joined the band. |
